Nestled among beautiful tropical gardens but only few minutes from the Patong Beach and the beating heart of the nightlife – Bangla Road, the Thara Patong Beach Resort and Spa boasts great location. It is a family and young couples friendly hotel on the east coast of Phuket Island, Thailand. The combination of relaxing ambiance and modern add-ons, attracts hundreds of tourists. Guests have the possibility to chill out at the gardens around the swimming pools or to dip into the crowds. They can spend an entire day just by the swimming pool without even leaving the resort.
The hotel is located near Jungceylon shopping center. It is a few minutes walk to the top nightlife attractions. The resort is located in the central part of Patong Beach – a place where everything happens! It is 30 minutes drive from the Phuket International Airport and 25 minutes from the Phuket town.
Thara Beach Resort has two swimming pools with water slides, Jacuzzi areas, and children’s sections. Among the facilities are a fitness room, Spa center, massaging jets, etc. Hotel guests can use free WiFi.
Rooms
Although we were there before the renovation in 2014, we had a great time in Thara Patong Beach Resort . We booked a double room which was spacious, clean and nicely decorated with flower petals. As the other rooms in the resort, there were all the amenities needed – air-conditioning, TV, mini bar and…tyny pink lizards that are considered to get rid of mosquitoes.
Our room was with a garden view since all the properties did not have a sea view. Yet, we liked the hotel decor and the ambiance. The service was wonderful.
Dining
We booked a stay with breakfast. They served a good selection of both Western and Thai cuisine including exotic fruits, eggs, sausages, etc. We sat once at the hotel’s restaurant Tantawan where we sampled the seafood and the famous green curry.
With the great location, affordable prices and attentive stuff, Thara Patong Beach is a great resort for a business trip or a family vacation.
