Agios Georgios, Pagi is a Corfu beach located on the west coast of the Greek Ionian island. It is a very big bay and the time it takes to get from Agios Georgios to the capital city Kerkyra (Corfu Town) is about 1 hour (30 km).
How to get to Corfu beach Agios Georgios
You can get to Agios Georgios (Saint George) beach by car but keep in mind that the roads on the island are often very narrow. If you don’t have an own car you can rent one, or a motorcycle, or a buggy almost everywhere – in hotels or special agencies.
Things to do in Corfu beach Agios Georgios
Besides the sandy beach and the clear blue water there are plenty of fun things to do like parasailing, boat rides and more.
There are plenty of hotels and restaurants in the bay which is one of the most popular Corfu beaches. Keep in mind that during your stay on Corfu you may not experience the same traditional Greek kitchen that you can find on other places in Greece because on Corfu they cook mainly for tourists and that lowers the quality a lot.
Prices and more
The average price for a room for 3 people – 2 adults and a child in a Corfu hotel that offers breakfast, dinner and has a swimming pool and free Wi-Fi is 40 euros in June and September and 55 euros in late July and August. Each room has an air conditioner and a terrace. Not every room has a sea view.
There is no kitchen or counter in the room so if you want to cook make sure you bring most of the supplies like knives, forks and cups. We highly recommend you not to pay both for dinner and breakfast because it is not as good as sitting in a restaurant and ordering something that you like. For example every Friday at Marina restaurant in Alkyon hotel there is a Greek night where you can enjoy the entertainment of traditional Greek dancers and singers.
